Adult Prizes

  • $25 for the First Pike to be weighed in  
  • 1st Place: Dewalt 20V Two Tool Combo. ½” Hammer Drill / 3 Speed Impact
  • 2nd Place: $400 in services from Winterbottom Tattoo Dwight, ON
  • 3rd Place: Outbound 2 Person POP-Up Shelter & $50 Cash
  • 4th thru 10th Winners: will select one (1) prize from the donation table of their choice in the order of the event results

 12 Yrs Old & Under Prizes

Prizes will be presented @ 4 pm on February 26th at the Oxtongue Lake Community Centre.
Winners must be present to accept their prize or forfeit. (Refer to rules for exceptions)

2022 Algonquin Snowmobile Club (ASC) Fishing Derby Official Rules and Regulations

  • Judge’s decisions are final
  • Fish must be pike only 
  • Only one prize per registered angler
  • Contestants must be pre-registered 

Anyone participating in the ASC ice fishing derby cannot fish on Oxtongue lake after midnight Friday, February 25, 2022, until the official derby start time on Saturday, February 26, 2022 failure to comply will result in disqualification.

Derby will take place on Oxtongue Lake and is limited to Oxtongue Lake only – no river fishing
Fishing time is Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 8 AM to 3 PM

Weigh-in closes at 3 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022

A valid fishing license is required to have a fish weighed in for the ASC fishing derby

Fishing prizes will be awarded beginning at 4 PM Saturday, February 26th, 2022. You must be in attendance to claim prizes. If you are unable to attend there, a letter of proxy must be signed in order for another person to pick or claim your prize.

All participants will abide by all Ontario fishing regulations only (1) one line per registered angler

Live bait can be used

Pike weighing the most presented by the registered angler who legally angled the pike as per Ontario fishing regulations and all ASC fishing derby regulation

If there is more than one pike of the same weight eligible for a prize then the pike that was earlier to weigh-in will be determined the winner

For the 12 years and under, prizes:
The angler must be pre-registered the angler must be 12 years of age or under on the day of the ASC derby.

By entering the ASC derby and signing a registration form all participants declare an understanding of all derby rules, agree to abide by them and agree to permit the ASC fishing derby to use photographs of them in publicity releases.

All participants must do their utmost to exhibit good sportsmanship and are responsible for their litter.
